Genesis Home Birth Package includes:
Evidence-based, nurturing, family-centered care personalized for low-risk moms and babies.
Prenatal appointments every 4 weeks, and more often as your due date approaches. At each appointment I assess the well-being of mom and baby, talk about what’s important to you for your care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, provide information on benefits and risks of common maternity care tests and procedures, and answer any questions you may have.
Nutrition counseling.
Pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and newborn care education.
Referrals to complementary care providers as needed.
On-site venipuncture for necessary lab work.
Point of care limited obstetric ultrasound.
Non-stress tests as needed or desired.
On-call availability throughout your care.
Attendance at your birth with a skilled team of 2-3 midwives and birth assistants.
Water birth.
At least 2 in-home postpartum care visits for mom and baby in the first week after birth, including newborn screenings and breastfeeding support.
Extended postpartum care for a minimum of 6 weeks and up to 12 weeks as desired.
