Care |
| Prenatal
care takes place in the comfort of your own home, at a time that
is convenient for your family. Prenatal
visits include, but are not limited to: fetal palpation, listening
to fetal heart sounds, maternal vital signs (blood pressure, pulse),
dipstick urinalysis (and any other pertinent lab work). In addition,
ample time is allowed to discuss any questions/concerns that may
arise. |

4 weeks until 28 weeks
- Every
2 weeks until 36 weeks
- Every
week until birth
- Labwork
at initial visit, 28 weeks, and 36 weeks, or as indicated (with
permission)

| Labor
& Birth |
| I
am on call for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you feel
that your labor has begun, you should call and we can talk about
the next step. Sometimes the next step is watchful waiting,
and sometimes it means I come over right away. I will remain
with you during your active labor and until breastfeeding is
established and you and your baby are stable. This is typically
anywhere from 3 to 4 hours after the birth of your placenta. |

Labor |
- Maternal
vital signs will be monitored
- Fetal
heart rate will be evaluated often
- You
and your partner will be given the privacy to labor as you need
- Water
birth is available
- Baby
will be placed immediately on your chest
- Partners
may assist in the birth as little or as much as desired.

| Postpartum
Care |
| After
your birth, I will assist in the bonding experience between
your new baby and your family. I will facilitate breastfeeding,
and assure that you are well fed and comfortable. I will perform
a complete head to toe newborn exam, including reflex testing
and gestational age assessment. If repairs are necessary after
birth, we can evaluate and discuss our options. I am still available
to you by phone at any time after your birth. |

| Fees |
| I
accept cash, check, and credit card via paypal. A $200 non-refundable
deposit is due on retainer, so that I can put you on my calendar.
The remainder of my fee is due by your 37th week of pregnancy.
