Genesis Midwifery is theCentral Texas homebirth practice of Heather Hilton, with the basic philosophy that women have all they need within them to birth their babies in peace, and in the comfort of their own homes.

Midwifery care has been an option for women for centuries. Midwife comes from the old english word "mit wif", which means "with woman." As midwives, we strive to be with you both physically and spiritually as you need so that you feel comfortable and supported throughout your pregnancy and birth experience. Midwifery is a calling, and one that I feel very strongly compelled to follow.

The mission of Genesis Midwifery is to serve families in Austin, TX and surrounding areas to help them achieve their goal of a safe, natural, empowering birth.
